Hello and welcome to NCT Designs! I am Nicole, the owner and designer of this boutique. I got started years ago making t-shirts and other apparel for myself and friends and family using vinyl with my trusty Cricut. Since early 2024 I have ventured into the world of sublimation and direct to film which has really allowed most of what you will find on this site to come into reality.

The majority of the apparel will be printed with direct to film (abbreviated DTF). Similar to screen printing with the ink being pressed into the fabric.

Sublimation is a process of pressing the ink directly into the garment or substrate using a heat press. That means there is no texture at all. All designs are long lasting. Garments designed on 100% polyester will not fade at all. Those designed on the 65/35% blend or the 50/50% blend will fade just slightly after washing but still look great.

For any apparel item you see if you have a preference for a different fabric please just ask. Note that sublimation requires at least 50% polyester, but if you prefer 100% cotton or other blends, I am able to use one of the other printing techniques.

My full time job as a nurse practitioner keeps me plenty busy, but I love taking the time to make quality hand crafted goods for you!
